If you have some photo edit software try saving as JPEGS at about 60% quality or Physically reduce the size to 800x600 pixels or both. That should do it.

The final file has to be less than 161 kB in size and it must be one of the following types:

txt, doc, pdf, jpg, gif

If you go to the Microsoft web site there are a set of add on tools for XP, can not remember their name and one of those is a picture re-sizer I use it for all my pictures that I post on here.
