I've managed to misplace the last half of the Model Boats magazine with the build articles in them! Only scanned the first 3-4 issues.

Should have looked before I posted!

Been a few years since I started the build as well. Did find a number of photos though that Bryon Young sent me - he built a very well detailed model.

Hi Mike, I have nearly finished building a 1/16 th scale model, having to scratch build almost everything
But that is part of the enjoyment.
What scale are you building?

Hi John
It is me that needed the information on Bluebird. I have had the original plan (25 3/4 inchs) blown up to 36 inchs but I could not tell what scale it is.

Wiki has the dimensions of the original boat so you can easily work it out from that.

1:17.3 so 1:16 bits would work.

Hi Robert, my boat is 27"long 7 3/4" beam. So I worked it out at that 1/16th. was nearest.
That scale will work for your boat.

Hope that helps,

John
