1/35 Vosper MTB
« on: July 06, 2021, 10:07:18 am »

Just taken delivery of the Italeri 1/35 Vosper MTB and want to make it RC. Anyone done this and have any info to share re motors, props etc? I`d like to go with three motors and somehow incorporate the proper rudders in the build. Looking at size I`d also want to possibly run just one or two 6 cell NiMh batteries to power it along with brushless motors. Not too worried about reverse options, just forward motion and rudder..
like to know if its possible to tie in three motors to one speed controller and any relevant wiring ..
Any help much appreciated..

Hi Scabasad

Brushless motors require one ESC per motor for a start !!!

HI Follow the link to my Elco PT boat. Picture also of the completed model. I have also sent you a p/message the motors fitted in my model will be fine. I think that running 3 brushless motors will not be possible using one speed controller also could be way over scale speed. Normal brushed motors I find are ideal for this type of model and scale props from prop shop.

Stan. :-)) :-)) :-))
