Thanks I am ordering the boat from https://www.tmrcboatyard.com. They make no mention whether it is a 21 model.?? They seem to have decent stock levels. Are the changes year to year significant??
The df95 is a one design class. You literally cannot change anything and have to build it to the instructions that come in the box to stay class legal. In the time that it has been around, the manufacturers have changed the style of the gooseneck ( couple of years ago) and introduced a slightly different rudder tube as some people suffered slight looseness of the rudder after some use. The boat itself hasn't changed.
Neither change has made any material difference to the design or its performance. The earliest boats sail just the same as the latest, so effectively, no there isn't a 21 model
