Also can you confirm the aluminium case comes with the flagship model?

Hi Andy,
Nice radio,  I may be interested in one, however would you know if you can work separate esc's, like the F14 twin stick?

It looks a great piece of kit though anything with an LCD screen scares me off!

I notice you have throttles set on the side and the sticks?  Purely out of interest when I've designed control panels before one of my tests before handing over to an operator was to do two things at once (two buttons pressed, two sticks moved etc).  Obviously at work it would result in an error and no operation, but on your radio for whatever reason you have the twin functions -just out of interest what happens if you set full throttle on the side, then pull the stick back -does it cancel the side function?  Sorry for my old fashioned ignorance, what's the benefit of having a non-self centring throttle?  Or is it so you can put the radio down while it sails along?  I can imagine it is needed on a model aeroplane otherwise it falls out of the sky but can't figure it out on a model boat.

All sticks are self centering.
Good question scenario of sticks competing with each other  :-))
I just tried it and the receiver responds to the most recent signal so yes one cancels the other.

The side sticks allow for tank steering alone.

I am hoping I can use the two “turn knobs” on the main sticks to adjust the revs of my Schneider units and then left main stick for forward/reverse and right stick turning...

The knobs are also self centering.
The three pots at the bottom are friction  :-))

This evening I did a TX battery test. The battery is integral and charged wirelessly. I set the touch screen to always on at 20% brightness.
At 3hrs 45 mins

I guess in normal use with a timeout on the screen it will be much much longer.

Yes it looks good Andy, mine is destined for the 17th September, I watched the video today of using two receivers and switching from one to the other using a switch, will work well with one of my upcoming projects where main ship carry’s a daughter boat...

I now control motors with side levers with joysticks and with the bottom potentiometers for more options.

My expected delivery date was miles out, it came in a few days but I was on holiday.

Tomorrow I hope to learn how to walk Stevn's Arctic sideways on just the z drive steering and no bow thrust.

To further emphasise that this is completely different to a plane PL18 "pun"

Nothing to do with flying!
These are the model type option images on the EV.
There are 20 channel mixes to choose from rendering the "to me" complex OpenTX obsolete.
I'm at the moment using four mixes to great effect.

Cheapest UK despatch here. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/403068022820
I offered £38 each for 2 and was accepted.
Transfered me to ebay.com where this changed to £76.02 including UK VAT and Royal mail tracked.

Mine just arrived all OK :-)

A lower offer was declined so I think I found the best they'll accept.

That's great but who did you buy from who was the courier and was there no tracking data?

I bought 2 more 8gb receivers , delivery Friday. So in all I have 6 x 8 channel and 1 x 12 channel. That will do for now  :-)

I have a KYModels kit coming from China, that is via FedEx, that was for delivery today but tracking says it’s still at Charles de Gaulle?
