Model Slipway Assurance Class Tug - naval version wanted
« on: August 16, 2021, 05:06:56 pm »

My dad served on several Assurance Class tugs in WWII and I have been interested in obtaining a model for years.

Doesnít have to be a working model as itís essentially for display, and Iím happy if it needs repair/restoration.

Hopefully someone out there has one gathering dust or incomplete.

Fingers crossed, and thanks for reading.

Thanks, Mark.

I am in contact with the seller but this is the civvy version and, as Slipway have ceased trading, Iím not sure where I might find the Oerlikon and Bofors armaments in 1:43 for the naval versionÖ

You could probably get the armaments from Shapeways. Theoretically they can make them in any scale.

Contact Adrian at Battlecraft, he has a decent range of 1/48th items.
