  • Shiver me timbers...I've spilt me glue!

Some of you may remember that Kirklees boat club had the metal storage shed burnt (by scroats), we lost a lot of gear, mainly due to heat and smoke damage-our buildings, although they escaped any flames, they ended up smoked damaged and 70% needed totally redoing and the others that I had hand painted, needed some severe TLC.

We managed to secure some funding for some self-stick wrap in brick effect etc to try and help speed up the process of getting back up and running, With Covid putting us on hold for events I thought I had a bit more time-er, no, when I got them I had to re-sand them down, seal the inside to stop blackened fingers, repaint edging and then start to wrap. Some of the wrap would not go on the walls it peeled-so, more sprays glues tried and finally they have worked. Then, I found the boards had slightly warped in the heat-of what fun  {-)

Anyway, got them finished and have also done some other buildings that I have made-will show you later, no piccies.
