Sea Queen
« on: August 25, 2021, 09:10:06 pm »

My Sea Queen is all done, fully stripped back and new paint/varnish etc. Tried to keep her looking original. She sailed really well and just needed a new 12v 7ah sla battery as the old one was a bit tired and didn't hold its charge. She didn't exactly set the lake on fire but she did have a good turn of speed.

Another project nearing completion is a SLEC police launch, built as an 'out of the box' version rather than going to town with scale details. I think these type of boats deserve to be kept as simple as possible as I think it's part of their charm!

Also on the way and relevant to this post is a SLEC (HMM/Yeoman models) Wavemaster 34 for my next build. The Najade I have started is on the back burner for a bit!
