Just a follow on to the post I put in the Whats in the Box section.
I have now nearly finished the build. Just got a few things to add and the lighting to finish and its done. I have attached a series of pictures I have taken during the build. Went together reasonably well only a few minor problems here and there. Fit is not great on some areas and a fair bit of filling and sanding was needed, but I am quite pleased with the end result. There are a lot of pictures in the Whats in the box section, so I am not going to repeat them here. Mainly the bits as they came out of the box.
Starting to cut out windows and portholes
Motor and rudder fitted. Using heat sink instead of water cooling
A lot of filling and sanding later
Deck primed and first coat on.
Cabin primed
Mast and doors cut out. Bit out of sequence
Hull and cabin painted and lights fitted in the mast.
Nearly there
Other than a few bits and pieces its nearly finished. I enjoyed the build and for the money, I think its good value. Still scope for more to be added.
