Evening all, quick brushless motor question, do the  following specs look ok for a large tug? These are brushless all in one drives..


  • Voltage: 12v
  • KV value: 460KV
  • Speed: 5300 rpm
  • Diameter: 90mm

5300rpm is a lot for a big tug - about double what I would choose in fact. You can however use smaller props than scale but at higher revs.

A lot will depend on how much power the system is using. We know 12v but how many amps?
Are you saying that you have a 90mm propeller? Details?
