Very Familiar Shape

Umm, Now did Gene Roddenberry read model Maker back in 1955 ?. Listing some mags and saw this one of them, a Plan from WP Holland  " Plutonium Plate "


Is it just me or can you see a similarity with this and the Original USS Enterprise NCC - 1701 from 1966  :-))

But the PP has only one engine? But yes, turn it upside down and enterprise is a dead ringer.
