reinforce a hull

what is the best way to reinforce a plastic hull,i was considering  coating it in pva glue ???? its a billingboats hull feels kind of thin

Possibly add additional wood framing, or stringers between existing frames.  :-)

You could use
Glassfibre sheet or tissue with west system epoxy
It should be ok with epoxy resin.
Do not use p40 as it will cause damage to the plastic abs hull

The hull strength is probably OK unless you run it into something pointed at speed! Unless it is actually disrorted and out of shape I would leave it as it is. Don't overthink these things.

What model is it?  I mainly build in PS but ABS from Billings not much different, the only hull I worry about is a part built Krick WSP47 which is very thin but there must be hundreds out there OK. I'd advise NOT to think about coating the inside, have seen it done and it's a mess and unecesary.  Pretty much what Colin said.

.....thanks, many banckerts out there do just fine (if not all). There's a build of one here now with great results.
