hi there, about 3 'fastish' models - one called the Bobcat which is a very old design - this is powered by an Enya 19.

The other is a Surfury also powered by an Enya 19 (I like Enya me) :-)

the 3rd one is the Virgin Atlantic Challenger (the first one that Branson tried to cross the Atlantic in - and it sank) it is a semi-scale freebie plan, this has 2 x 400 electric motors in with Lipos in and its been fully tested and its a load of rubbish - it comes up on the plane and then cavitates.  I think major surgery has to be done i.e. reposition the prop tubes so that they are at a better angle.

Some models for you think about.

Couple of pics here as well....

Hi  Del-69

I'am on with building a SLEC Fairy Huntress very nice kit making a pleasant change from building from a plan. Putting a ASP 46 wc nitro engine in should push it along at a respectable speed has the kit has some light ply in the construction.

Happy building & sailing

Hi,

Sorry but...

"it comes up on the plane and then cavitates"

....When I see this I'm trying to collect info from various folk on how they know it's cavitation -not found anyone yet has proved it on a model.  Not sure how you could when the thing is out on the water apart from nobody's said they have come back with pitted or chewed up props yet.  Do you mean your set-up aerates -that's a different thing?
