Envoy Model Tug Construction Booklet
« on: October 18, 2021, 03:51:30 am »

Hi. I have purchased the model Envoy Tug some 10 years ago and never got around to constructing it. I have the Kit and Full Size Plans, but seem to have misplaced the Construction/Instruction booklet. Now that I have more time, I would like to commence, but a little apprehensive re: what goes where in the construction process. I am wondering if anybody has a copy of the Instruction booklet and would like to forward it to me. I am in Australia and willing to pay all costs etc. Thanks.

Welcome to MBM Bluefin.........[how is the Tuna down your way?]

I cannot help with a booklet, but there is a comprehensive [23 page] build thread here...have you seen :o

As you progress why not start a thread with your build?

Hi Derek, not quite Tuna season here yet, (starts late Nov - early December), all vessels being made ready for the new season. Yes I have seen the progress photos of the build thread re: RC Groups Envoy Admiralty Tug. They're good and will be helpful, but after unpacking the kit today I was a little hesitant in commencing the rear deck and positioning of deck beams and drilling holes in the hull for the Scuppers, port holes, anchor etc.
