We have 100% of NSW's Ro-Ro Car Carriers berthing at Port Kembla now.......


Have watched & listened to many......more like drom drom drom drom gently thumping hum of the diesel generators 900 RPM?

The only two I have ever seen (so obviously a huge swathe of evidence!) have either been capsized or the one pictured above! I agree that they are powered boxes and probably have the rumbustouesness of a refrigerator.

Its amazing what they can carry i.e. generator sets (not your run of the mill type), the ones they transport using a scammell and multi wheeled trailer, mining dump trucks etc and the quayside of cars and vans etc, all finely balanced to prevent the occasional capsize, though the publiciced ones are rare like the portsmouth incident and the lesser known BMW grave at the bottom of the english channel  O0
