That's my first mayhem attended and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it and in particular what a fantastically organised event it is. A massive thank you to all those involved.
All the info provided, maps, directions, instructions & signage was spot on. It's amazing how many much bigger professional events totally fail at that. That was actually a big part in my spur of the moment decision to frantically charge the batteries and make the 270 mile round trip, it really made the whole thing very easy to attend. It almost feels like I should be paying someone! Joking aside, as someone not a member of a local club, is there a way to contribute a donation towards the running of the event?
I've never sailed anywhere with more than one other boat in the water so this really was an eye opener and fantastic fun. 3 boats sailed, 3 flat batteries and 0 collisions, not bad for a first time. Although after a while my eyes were spinning trying to keep track of everything
Already crossing off the days till next year
