Hello !
Lovely Berhard! You are an artist !
You definitely have to make a tutorial et show us how you make those nice gauges ! (Where do you get the dial background ?)
For the sail of my BAT, I am waiting for warmer days ! %)

Hello !
She finally hit the pond ! :-)
As I wrote before, I installed the Caton inside . I had 2 bar only (boiler pressure)  and the Caton needs 3 to 4 b to get enough RPM.
The videos are short but at least I can show a BAT sailing ! Now , clean and store until the text trip !
Have a nice day !

Your model "Bat" looks very impressive on the water and this was a good build thread to follow.

I found this photograph of a model of the "Bat" in the 1987 book 'Radio Control in Model Boats' by John Cundell/Argus Publications.

Hello !
Last weekend  the BAT was out in the wind !
I took the cover off to see how behaves my burner in such a wind !
No problem at all and she enjoyed sailing through the waves.
For a 60 years old engine , all was fine with 3 b pushing !The boiler pressure steady so the gas  tank ! I must say that the temp was about 27°C .
fortunately, the cool bowx was cool ! O0
A pleasure to play with ! :-) :-))

Bonjour Yves,
A sixty years old machine ? What is it ?
Besides this, you have wonderful and efficient boats, you should come to Atlantica  :-))

For a 60 years old engine ,
Sorry ! I should have write " 30 years old" <*<

if I am not wrong , this MAX II dates from around 1990.  I hope that someone can tell us more about this engine from Max Hemmens.
Thanks for the comments .
Have a good day. :-)

I don't know what I am doing anymore ! :embarrassed:
I should think twice before answering.
The engine is a CATON as shown in the previous pics.
I apologizes ! :-) ....and quit drinking !

Hello !
You know what ? I can't find a camecorder anymore ! (unless it is a second hand) . I am so obsolete , dear  (I didn't know ) that I had to change my phone for a new one to be able to film a decent video !
Today , the mobile phone is your arm/brain extension ! If you don't have any , you can't even pay your taxes ! %%
DO YOU BELEIVE IT ?
Nothing can be done without this "thing" ! I understand now , why when I talk to a youngest , he has white objects in his hears. I though that he has hearing problems due to this "bang-bang" music called RAP.  NO ! He is listening something else!
Nowadays , when my grand kids come home for diner, I dress the table in a conventional manner , but I add along  with knifes & forks ,  a clean support for them to watch their phone screen while chewing !
The good thing ! It has not replaced the toilet paper yet ! But for how long ??...  :embarrassed:
I am definitely out of this new world ! But .... is it a bad thing ??
Have a good day listening to the birds ! ok2
