Lines plan drawing of X-bow anchor handling vessel
« on: November 27, 2021, 04:27:52 am »

I am looking to build an anchor handling vessel of the x-bow type and have spent weeks searching the net for drawings. I have the image below from an x-bow build thread elsewhere on this forum. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance, Sean

Welcome to MBM Sean...........

X bow vessels are ever more popular in Marine design, so the same will filter to models

Commercial plans are available and could eliminate some possible pitfalls in printing down from  the WEB [free Plans?]

Could the word 'Linespan', be a European Continental technical term?

My drafting skills are years old, however I have a little difficulty in visualising the general underwater lines as shown.....[however I naturally stand corrected to CAD 3D modelling & creations]
Free Plans?.......I really don't think there is any such thing as a free lunch  >>:-(
