Looking good, especially with the illumination. The bridge deck, is the floor really blue? Most modern ships now have a pseudo wood laminate floor laid, even in offshore vessels.

Nice job on the lighting,  it really ads to the realism! Liked the video too, she handled well considering the bad weather. Perhaps the camera on top had some  bad influence on the stability?
Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the kind words.
The weather at Mayhem 2017 was not kind . There was gusts blow across the pond . Given her high beam as she is a ferry she handle well. She tends to roll a bit then did in. I dont think she would roll over.
Still got a lot more lights to go .
Brian
dont know what colour her bridge floor was . just grabbed the first spray can which was blue and painted the floor . Looking in you dont see much of the floor any way .

Went to restart work on Celestine . Thought must have a detail catch up of were I am on the electrics and were i want to be . looked at the PDF of the switching unit . common + switched neg , oh dear . Spent 4 hours tracing and checking the all ready fitted wires . knocked a few bit off ,more to fix later . After 4 hours found out a few things . One it wired switched positive neg common . This can be fixed by using relays . Second do a detailed wiring diagram and fill in the colours of the cables as you fit them . Dont chop and change colours ) .
so some relays have been ordered . will check these when I come back from work next week . Then do a detail wiring plan . Then start wiring up that bridge . need to find a connector to for the bridge wiring harness , needs to be about 20 way . might look at old computer cables etc .

Relay board arrived. Spent a few hours on the web working out the connection. Tested it works fine. So programmed the RC 7 way multi switch. Connected it to the relay. Work fine. Now I can switch 7 relays on one at a time in asecending order.
This means the switch is switched negative. Celestine lights are switch positive. The relays will take care of that.
Next up is to wire this relay board and multi switch on a permanent base and wires and terminals

Well more wiring done. Started doing some testing and it looks great.
We have red white red restricted manoeuvring by draft
Triple red restricted manoeuvring by size
Green pilot on board
White running light
Port starboard lights
Four flood lights
Out side lights
Bridge lights

Still got inside lights and spot light to go.
Need to look in to multi plugs to see what can be used

Next up had a broken wire in the ferry were you can get to LOL. This ment cutting the deck. Here I decided to make the opening bigger. I was not 100% happy with the wiring so it was all ripped out and re desigined.
Also the stern ramp was not clossing tight so I made an adjuster on the actuator

Wired up the Led. Forgot to cut the copper track below the resistor. Leds went pop.  Oh dear. Well new fitted and tested. Very pleased. I could do more lights but I think I will call it a day.

Next up was detailing and adding cars. I use clear sheet and hot glued the cars down on to the sheet. This made it easier to set up.
She need a nice stand so one was made up out of some left over Iroko wood I had and topped with rubber .
The Stairs were finished off as well .
At The Warwick show her rudder broke so this was fixe din one evening

Hi Hama
Thanks ,she is getting there . I hope to have her finished this year.
This is the second time we have had a ferry slot at the Warwick show . They cerently pleased the crowds . It is great to see boats of the same type on the water at the same time . Hopefully in the next few years we will get more thanks to the hard work of Carl of linkspan models

Some great images John  :-)) ......we see with your vessel, the auxiliary engine [generator] exhaust sets down aft as usual, however is this an emergency generator [10" diameter] exhaust just behind the bridge?
