Yes, I've enjoyed restoring two Sea Scouts, lovely model great, to work on,  biggest problem I had was getting a small enough servo for the rudder compartment.
Even a small motor can get this model really moving. 7.2v nimh.

That looks good Harry.

The Sea Scout (along with the Sea Urchin and Sea Rover) are Aerokits models that I enjoyed looking at in the Keil Kraft catalogue when I was a boy, but could not afford to buy any of them.

It was what encouraged me to save as much of my meagre apprenticeship wages as I could afford when I started work to buy an Aerokits Swordsman kit - and make my first ever model boat

The Sea Scout is a nice little boat that has often tempted me over the years  - but (surprisingly) one has never found its way into my fleet.........yet  %)

Looking very smart there Harry.

I'm sure that motor will give it more than enough get up and go.

Looking forward to seeing it and the Wavemaster in action.
