A quick progress report on the little k100 daycab:

and last but not least, the sound system i went with:



this is a Dasmikro micro sound unit.  based on youtube videos, it sounds alot like the gtpower.  if you look closely it is servo taped to the side of the ESC, and the red a nd black wires lead around to the front of the ESC where the mini speaker is located.  it connects to the throttle output of the receiver, and an aux channel.  using the aux channel allows you to select alternate sounds, like a horn.

I have now started on my third 1/14 truck, a mostly stock Globe Liner.  It will be finished with a DasMikro sound system and a Lesu sound system, it is using the stock motor, and a hobbywing brushed ESC.
