Hi DG still got a lot left over from my experimental days and so many components I could almost open a shop.  If you are ever short of anything send me a P.M. as I have a lot of the old chips doing nothing including a few ZN409s and 74*** series chips.  I even have a bag of unused OC140's.

Look forward to your update.

74*** series chips?
We used to DREAM of 74*** series chips......At the moment one of my projects it to recreate an old Remcom Versatile 12 reed receiver. That means cutting 1/64" spring steel to make a reed bank, and, probably, winding my own IF cans. The transistors would be from the old Newmarket days. I don't suppose you have any NKT676, 212s or 218s, do you?  If you have, they should be in a museum...

Ok guys, give me a couple of days, all scans I did were Jpegs ready to use the round tuit and convert/compress to PDFs. Roycv's took a couple of minutes but early tomorrow, have to wave goodbye to the two type 23s in dock whilst on the Torpoint ferry and drive the 350 bl***y miles home. Wotch yer in boxes Dodgy and Martin for complete sets.

Hi DG, sorry I forgot to look until now.  Those transistors are not in my lot.  The ones I have are computer oriented.  I have the common 74...s which are not doing anything but they are mainly gates and flip flops.
Hope your old RC refurbish is going well.

Refurb on a bit of a hold, I'm afraid

I got talking to the 6-year old son of a local vintage free-flighter, and asked him what sort of model boat he might like to build - "A paddle-steamer" was the answer.

He was thinking about a stern-wheeler, but I suspect that might be uncontrollable at EeZeBilt sizes. So I'm doing a 30" Waverly. If the prototype works I can do him a kit for Xmas....

Alas, I avoid much social media such as Facebook....  but I like the Tesla boat. The plan suggests that the hull is woden, while I always thought that it was metal - probably beaten copper.

I wonder if anyone has built a working replica apart from museums? The operational frequencies would probably have to be different...
