"Assuming we had copyright holders permission I would be willing to be a team member for model boating mags although someone would need to lend me the mags to scan."

Interesting to see the change in prices.

The Sanwa 3-channel set is over £750 in current money, whilst entrance to the ME exhibition was under four quid.
The magazine was 30p and my mortgage was for £7000 on a 3 bed semi I paid about £10K for a year or so earlier. The admission price was actually 45p for an adult; 25p for a child at school. Teachers in charge of a party free!
That's inflation for you!

What that demonstrates is that in real terms property, exhibition entry and magazines are now far more expensive than they used to be, whereas electronics are vastly cheaper.

If the print side stops then so will the digital. Both are needed to keep the magazine afloat!

Adverts are what keep magazines viable at a price the buyers are willing to pay. It's also how manufacturers, even in these days of the web, keep people aware of their existence. I'm not sure how either is a bad thing, but reading comments here, I see that many think it is.

Hi Martin nice trip down memory lane.  Re the Marx motors I have a Sub-Drive and have been trying to find a second unit to fit into a boat, anybody got one?
I have all the other motors on the page as well.
Regards
Roy
