Great show, but I remember gripping all day as the lighting was very orange sodium light, which made photography almost impossible,
.... well that's my excuse anyway!  .... Orange Sodium, what a stupid choice!

Many if not most suppliers (today), were often simply re-stockists, often supplying goods from China on a mark-up.

The Chinese have learnt how to supply direct, cutting out the middle man. The suppliers that have survived and prospered are the ones that can offer a product that is original, what customers want and that is also manufactured on home soil.

The photos of the Greek Bireme takes me back.  Our club member the late Clive Reynolds (we have another member same name) who made them died a few years ago now.  By day he designed high speed torpedos for the Admiralty.

 He had an even bigger Trireme with all the oars working as well.
