Hello!
I got a really nice and unexpected Christmas present from a friend.
A 1:1250 scale model of the "Visby" from the company Risawoleska. And I couldn't resist a comparison with my 1:200 scale model.

I have a good collection of 1:1250 model ships. I always enjoy looking at them.

Sven, it was a very nice present!
Colin, I understand that this is quite big to collect these miniatures. This is my first, perhaps not my last. I'm amazed at the amount of details in such a tiny scale. It certainly put my own efforts to shame!

Hi Hama
I too have that model but with Viking Line on the side . I have over 400 1:1250 ferries.
On Facebook there is a page with over 1500 members on it.

Over 400, that's impressive!!
Yes she had a very short career for Viking Line, interestingly enough she is still alive in the Mediterranean for Corsica Ferries.
