No matter what the quality of any kit, if Ken's building it we all know the end result will be first class  :-))

You're very kind joe, thank you very much.
Paul the kit itself is great my only gripe is the colour call outs, some parts have 2 options for colour others have no colour call outs.
Hi all more work on the engine, the pipework is supposed to be gunmetal (why? Surley it would be steel or ally) anyway I decided for a bit of interest I would do it copper.

Added some weathering to the engine.

Thanks Ken it builds into a great looking car full of Italian flair !
and with you regarding the gunmetal? it does seem an odd choice for pipework - but hey izz 'Italain'.
Liking the intial highly polished finish on the rocker boxes, before the ageing wash was applied its spot on,
can I ask what's your preferred paint please? I've spent a small fortune on Alclad and the likes trying to get that sheen, and still struggling.
Paul.

Thanks Joe, yes I certainly couldn't afford one, even Jay Leno`s replica cots him nearly 400 thousand us dollars.
Hi all there are upgrade kits for the wheels of this kit but I honestly can see nothing wrong with the kit ones, they don't even need cleaning no flash of anything.

Well Tamiya certainly lifted the bar years ago for plastic kit manufacture but anyone knowing anything about injection moulding tooling, those wheels are stunning.  O0

More done to the Alfa added detail to the firewall (put the rubber strip round where the bonnet goes and some wires) added (or as much as I can see) the throttle linkage (not sure where to route the throttle linkage) all the pics I can find finish where it is now, obviously it must end up at the peddle but no idea how it goes from where it is now to the peddle.
Loving the detail on the grill (this from a man that hates PE

OK so I've added locknut detail to the radiator cowling  ( loads more of that to add ) added the advance/ retard mechanism and the low tension leads to the coil and to the distributor (still to make the condenser)

Very nice detailing Ken !  Alfa mechanics making absolutely sure the rad cowl won't fall off !!  Lol.

Have to say its building into a cracking model and my initial fears about kit quality have long gone out the window.
Note to oneself - not to take notice of kit reviews by so called 'experts',
your photos clearly show kit manufacturing that's up there with the best of them.
Paul.

The quality of this kit is great, fit is great no flash at all (a few seam lines but then even tamiya don't get rid of all them) my only gripe with this kit (and it is a small one) is the lack of colour call outs.
