1/144 and 1/96 air wings

the above are always a problem for those needing aircraft, 1/72 are well catered for but that puts hull siz up.  Found this guy and he does a lot of RN aircraft and more to be added, both wings down and folded.

Thanks Rob47, a handy thing to know and could possibly help me when I next have to install aircraft on a 1/144 model.

To date I've had great luck with the "F-toys" and "WingKit" brands, available on E-bay but, when you need several kits of the same type, better bought from somewhere like "HobbyLink".  They may be in Japan but their service has always been prompt and flawless.

Another source, in the UK, could be "KingKit" but can be expensive for the rare kits favoured by collectors.

One trick I have learnt is that if something potentially useful is seen, even if there is no immediate need, then buy it nonetheless.  As a result there are a couple of boxes of kits stashed away somewhere in the loft..!

In my case,I have still 1/144 US Navy 2 Hellcats and Dauntless as well as 1/100 IJN 9 Zeroes all of which are kept unassembled in the boxes. While 1/100 14 Super-marine Seafires are sleeping in their sleeping beds and 8 are in service aboard the 1/96 HMS Fencer. {-) %%
