good evening everyone

now on Day 49 of the build, and possibly one of the most enjoyable builds i have ever done

this week all of the tween deck has been completed,
30% of the top deck is now done
i now need to start thanking of filling the port side fully and deciding what to leave open on the stbe side

I can see you were spraying the longitudinal & transverse members .... including the floor plates, or were they already green?

You're making good progress there Kevin - it must be quite satisfying to see the ship coming together.

Hey, I see they've named a product after me!

good evening everyone
thank you for comments and likes
day 56 front end on, and back off again, stbd side frames going in instead
But first of all i made an attempt to join the front end on, after 24 hours of daring not to sneeze i decided, its far to early as there is nothing solid yet to secure it to, other than the keel plates, however with a bit of string along the centre line, it is spot on]IMG_3448.thumb.JPG.fa4b4e085439577881dfdcbd3f3f16aa.JPG
IMG_3449.thumb.JPG.a6d8027cf670215d56409c8e50b9c13b.JPG

IMG_3450.thumb.JPG.a75cdb19a5e8c8cde7d9be4a92db9257.JPG

right lets get the port side sorted, 157 frames to varnish bot sides, paint the reverse side, cut and fold
IMG_3457.thumb.JPG.674b801267385528b913d57f0b1721b6.JPG
frames going in, my project for the next few days
IMG_3458.thumb.JPG.59804d3d397daebf4475038a7e600acc.JPGfront end  is getting in the way, rather than damage anything, i have taken it back off

Ray it is possibly my first ever built where i have not thought about moving on to one of my other projects, like
completing the 1/84 Amerigo Vespuicci, 1/48 CAF HMS Enterprise, 1/48 U552, or the 1/72 Snowberry, lol or start the 1/200 Titanic

good evening everyone

Day 60 of my build

we now have the bow section added, and most of the port side frames

then i can put in the port side tween deck and then try and decide the best way to approach the stbd side, wich i want to leave mostly open, But i need to support the decks a lot more, to prevent any sagging

Well Kevin...

They didn't have hand-held fluro colour display Lazers  when those Blokes built the Pyramids, however they sure did use stringlines  O0

Having said this, I acknowledge this hand held technology is a quantum step forward in certain applications, even in model building
