The salvage of the Ever Given
« on: May 24, 2022, 09:17:56 am »

Not that it's any piece of news any more,
but this book by Boskalis/Smit salvage is a fascinating reading - almost an hour-by-hour story about the grounding and the proceedings of the salvage that shook the world.
Involved among others, the Carlo Magno and the ALP Guard that rushed to the site from the Indian ocean to be there in time for the spring tide (the ALP Guard almost out of fuel!!). Really exciting!
My friend works at Boskalis and he borrowed me the book.
ISBN 9789090352541, "The salvage of the Ever Given", Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V.
I wish I could share any of the great photographs, but the legal small print is quite explicit about that.

Hi,
I just tried to order this as the advertised price was unbelievably great at 10EUR.  Sadly, at least 45EUR just to ship to UK which is not a real value for shipping, so a bit much though probably more like the real price for the book in total.  Sadly, no sale for me.
