Scale

(1/1)

rickles23:
Hi,

As I am totally useless with anything to do with scale, could someone check this out.

Landing Craft at 1/72 scale

35 feet long x 12 = 420

420 diveded by 72 =5.8 inches

Tug Fanatic:
The maths is right but I cannot comment on the 35ft

Circlip:
If you want bigger numbers, convert to metric

148.2mm OR 14.82cm (If you need dressmakers sizes)   {-)

  Regards  Ian.

Thank you for the reply to my question.

The LSI is 35 feet in length and for once in my life I have got it right.

But knowing me I will be back.

Regards

Jonty:
The smallest landing craft were the LCAs which were about 45ft. An LSI, a landing ship infantry, was a much larger merchant ship that carried the LCAs.
