T.S.D.Y. DUFRESNE Deans Marine
« on: June 30, 2022, 07:53:37 am »

I have built this model 9 years ago and it is still one of my favourite boats for sailing on our club pond. She runs on two Kondor motors from Deans Marine. I have installed the smallest bow thruster from the Rabosch range but maneuvreability is excellent even without the thruster. With her two rudders she nearly can turn on the spot.
My daughter has taken a video recently which I thought you might like:

I also have attached some photos of the build. She looks great with her classic lines doesn't she? :-))

Hi swiftdoc;
I have appreciated very much your video with a great interest especially as it showed motional impressions naturally and concretely on how you nice boat sailed on the water, not on the cradle on the shelf.?!! :-)) :-))
She looked to sail so gracefully on the pond just like her splendid white? appearance,very impressive on a calm water.!! :-))
The boat and its circumstances met each other so coincidentally.!!! :-)) :-)) :-))
I personally think it so good to sail such nice RC boat as yours on the water,if possible and much better if frequently done.! {-) %% :-)) :-))
Static images were also nice and well done,needless to say.!! O0
Well then,what's next ??!!!! :embarrassed: :embarrassed:

Thank you so much guys for the nice comments, much appreciated!

@Kiyo: I am following your posts about sailing your boats with great interest. I enjoy the photos showing some Japanese landscape and running your activities as a ‚family business‘  :-)) ;)  I am still building the Shannon class lifeboat, it takes some time building from scratch…..

Your model would go well with my Grand Banks build. If you are interested in the Grand Banks build see the link below.
