Vosper 73' mtb lines plan?
« on: July 02, 2022, 10:49:04 am »

I'm looking for a lines plan I have John lamberts from Cornwall model boats but it's just a G.A. plan, I'm a bit disappointed as two of the three sheets are magazine article.
Sariks plan has totally the wrong shape for a scale model. Does anyone know of a lines plan for a Vosper type1 73' mtb?.

Hi ya Dave

I am becoming a little confused here.   The 73 ft Vosper (as Airfix have manufactured) - is this the one you mean?
for the plans?

If so, you need to obtain a copy of 'Allied Coastal Forces of WWII volume 2 by John Lambert and Al Ross.   In this book, you will find the line drawings  for the hull - rather a small scale drawing in the book - but should be able to enlarge the plan.

The other alternative would be Model Shipwright Magazine - and in one of their magazines - there is a pull out plan.  Be careful when purchasing though - before you purchase ensure it is the correct MTB - and make sure also that the plans are included.  They are available on Amazon and EBay.
