EeZeBilt OSA Missile Boat
« on: June 15, 2024, 01:37:15 pm »

Some shots of the EeZeBilt OSA 1 Missile boat on trials. Not much deck detail, railings or aerial clutter yet since it was on its first outing. It's decorated as the INS NIPAT. one of the Vidyut-class boats of Operation Trident in 1971...

Looks fabulous Dodgy  :-))

You should include a link to your, very comprehensive, plans for the model.

Thank you for all you do in keeping vintage model boats alive.

People can always find the site by googling 'eezebilt', of course.  But with this boat and some others, I'm trying out a new offering - full virtual kits.

I guess that sooner or later every modeller is either going to have, or at least have access to, a numerically-controlled cutter and a 3-D printer. The costs of each of these are in the low hundreds, and the prices can only drop...Surely clubs, at least, can gain access to this sort of thing?

If you go to http://eezebilt.tk/OSAkit.html , you will find the plans for the OSA, presented as:

 • Paper templates to cut out if you want to make your own parts
 • The instructions
 • A set of .DXF files which will drive a CNC cutter to cut out all the parts for you
 • A set of .STL files which will drive a 3-d printer to produce all the fittings required

All I need now is a bit of Box Art, and we have a virtual kit. Just add balsa sheets...
