Scale 1 : 35 or 24 Figures
« on: July 04, 2022, 08:55:42 am »

Does anyone know which company makes plastic figures that are assembled from body parts, heads, arms, legs etc?

I have used up all the ones I had and they came as a collection of plastic sets but no box, so do not know manufacturer.  I had the easier to find 1 : 35 scale but knowing who made them is what I am looking for.
Many of them have laid down their arms (well guns anyway) and can be seen on a few of my model boats.  Sort of 'Gone fishing'!

Airfix did 1/32
Dragon/Masterbox/Tamiya/MiniArt all do 1/35
Tamiya did a 1/20 scale motor racing team

Hi, I have some of these but they seem to come as whole figures, I am after the ones that come with separate arms and legs and torsos.  So I can make my own positioned figures.  The adverts rarely show the contents of the box.

Barrie you are a star!!  Precisely what I was looking for, I shall make a bid for them.  I put Naval in my search and that did not bring in any results.
Thanks for taking the trouble.
Best regards

They only appeared overnight Roy. although they are often listed.

Try searching for Italeri 1/35 PT-109 Boat Crew Figures and you will find other lots - at increased prices!

Hi Barry I made my bid and it was accepted.  They are active crew rather than the clean up lot.  They do not seem to have a captain.  Not got round to assembling them yet but they look the part.  Used but still in sealed bags.

I also found some dismembered or whatever the word is figures needing assmbling I had forgotten about in my garage.

My oldest son who is into Warhammer helped me convert these Truckers and Aircrew into fishermen. Still have to finally place them.
