gun turret bearings

I came across some 3inch diameter lazy susan bearings that work perfectly as turret bearings for my 1914 USS Texas in 1/96. All five turrets spin freely without wobble, although the 2 RPM gear motors I will addshould slow that down a bit!

A "lazy susan" is often used in the centre of a dining table so that a communal selection of, say cheese or dips, can be rotated to allow each diner to serve themselves without over reaching or having to pass separate dishes by hand.

On the other hand, I once went to a restaurant at the top of a tower overlooking the Mississippi River where the diners were slowly circulating around the food set out on a static, central servery!

      "Lazy Susan."
Hi fellers. try the pound shop for your lazy suzan, they make good base boards for spray painting, or  just use as a  table for building..saves lifting your project to get round the other side.
