This is how it turned out!
Not really, someone offered me too much money for my one, so I sold it.
... I bought this Sunday at a club open day:

He was a legend in my opinion as he brought so much in the days when we needed to encourage youngsters, sadly we were a little bit older, and most of us built one (I did two) and the young ones........well you know the story..........

That built up nicely. Figures and fishing accessories add much life and visual interest.

Lovely build and great build pictures. Could I ask if the kit is still available. Looks quite compact. What is the dimensions.
Thanks.

He started in cars, and my understanding is he built a garden railway, and wanted some boats for the pond. He then went back to making cars again after a few years

Hi Klunk
Just had an email back from George. He said he hasn’t produced the boats for years and has none left in stock. I told him about the post on the forum and that there was a lot of interest.
I replied to him to see if he still has the moulds and would he be interested in making them to order. I am waiting for a reply.

I do hope so, I meet George at one of the Alford Shows, and just loved his models, but as I was unemployed at the time I could not afforded to buy one, when I could he had stopped producing them.

That's all right, Mr Ryan. My Morse is so rusty, I could be sending him dimensions on Playmate of the Month.

I always liked the Tessa Tug.
It would be great if he made a batch of each.

Reading this thread reminded me I had one of Georges kits laying around somewhere, after a bit of a search, I found not only a kit, but one of the tenner hulls. I just had to make start on them.

Blimey
I didn’t realise he did such a range. What a Shane he stopped. There must still be a market for his range. I would think he must still have the moulds. I know he concentrates on cars, but I suppose as a one man band it’s enough. Would be nice if someone purchased the moulds and started again.

I always liked this mild uncluttered conversion. I have no idea of the owner nor where the picture came from.
