Yes, I'd rather forgotten Smokie since the 1960s/70s until I came across the You Tube videos.

Their second lead singer Alan Barton was tragically killed following a tour bus crash at the age of 40.

Something else I have been enjoying recently is Byrds legend Roger McGuinn on the Marty Stuart show, wonderful Rickenbacker guitar. Fantastic playing.
