1*12th speedline tamar
« on: November 05, 2022, 04:38:35 pm »

Hi Fellow Modelers

Another thought on my recent post regarding two pieces of rectangular 3mm not 4mm Perspex

Could these possibly be the two windows in flying bridge door. i have a parts list but not a drawing of the part or its relevant number it is on the same sheet as the arm rests

If this could be confirmed it would be most helpful

Thanks
Regards   Howard/ Shipmates

Hi Howard
I’ve looked at the rnli drawings I have and the back rest is approx 390mm x 540mm so at 1/12 would be approx 32.5x45mm.  It’s about 60mm thick so 5mm at 1/12; maybe the two pieces you have are glued together to get the thickness. I think you’ll be able to tell from the door itself whether the parts are the windows.
Hope that’s of some help
Phil

Hi Pister

Thanks for your reply sounds feasible not sure why was not supplied as two pieces

Sorry for another question there is also a blown styrene item about 50mm by 50 mm by 6mm which i can't find where it could be located also there are three clear plastics dome or bell-shaped items on a sheet together which need locating

Thanks for your patience
