Hope you had an enjoyable day in SUNNY Blackpool and managed to weave your way through the array of speed cameras at every street corner  :police: you must have brought the good weather with you.

Hi, our local model shop is most welcoming, unfortunately he tends to cater for rc cars and does not hold much stock of interest to a boater although he can order anything you need. I tend to rely on mail order for stuff I need.

Well like Mark I buy most of my stuff over the internet as the model shops close to me (good as they are) in either Worcester, Hereford or Leominster deal mainly in cars aeroplanes and trains not boats.  :( Graham

This could prove to be an interesting thread.

Perhaps the model shops NOT named in this thread would do well to review their customer service training.

Especially since the originator seems to have done a 180 degree rotation? ?

We don't want our customers to be satisfied or contented with our service or product.  We want our customers to be delighted and impressed with everything we do.

Hi Gary

I have bought quite a few things off you on Ebay and can say that your service is impeccable, very fast on delivery to Australia and superb fittings. I can not wait until your site is up and running, just one thing could you please have some ships guns etc for 1/32 scale like bofors, 50 cals etc.

Hello everyone,

I'm new to all this and don't really know much about forums but noticed you were all singing Gary's praises at Red Bank Models, so i just wanted to add my comments i have lived in Blackpool most of my life and have always shopped with Gary,Carol & Andy i find them to be such a nice & helpfull family run business that always make you feel wellcome anyone who hasn't been to visit them must be mad its a must for all us mad boat builders like i said i have lived in Blackpool for a long time and and for the past 26 years they have always been there to help if they haven't got what i want at the time they will do all they can to find it or an alternative but over the years there has not been much they can't help me with.

Its a shame there is not allot more established family run model shops as nice as this one its nice to build a relationship with a shop thats not just after every penny they can get out of you. Red Bank Models is the place you can just go to for honest friendly advice and having been there for over 25 years it is certainly somewhere you can trust.

10/10 Gary,Carol & Andy keep up the good work and i will be in to see you soon.

All the best HAROLD......
