Some more positive progress on developing equipment on 27MHz for submarines.
The problem for submariners is, of course, that 2.4GHz equipment is not suitable if you want to submerge completely.
The background is that we have been developing ideas which "maybe" some commercial provider could manufacture and develop further. So we are not really suggesting easy DIY stuff but everyone is welcome to join in the development. LORA on 458MHz has been shown to work well but 27MHz is a globally available frequency. (Smaller - particularly important for the lower frequencies) Underwater antenna could be the next thing?

As you can see in this example, a submarine is abe to dive to a depth of 3 meters equipped with a 41 MHz radio control, so it could be even better with a 27 MHz one, without any special feature on the radio : https://youtu.be/MyWzYXgae_c

Several people have commented, and we seem to  have forgotten how well these frequencies worked for us.
