Shapeways
« on: January 19, 2023, 11:34:15 am »

Hi all, I see frequent mention of Shapeways, do they only trade from the USA?  As postage is rather expensive for small items.I am after a gear wheel to fit my Airfix 14XX loco, no other spares available, priced at £8.50 or so but triples with postage and VAT.
.Anyone got information or even better know where I can get a replacement gear?
Regards
Roy

Lots of alternatives to Shapeways. All depends on the printing process you want to use.

What materials do you want to print it in, plastic or metal, and what is the pitch of the gear wheel?
