From Facebook .... My darling Andy is with the angels now, a shining star watching over us all from above. As his family we are beyond heartbroken. Your hundreds of kind messages, memories, well wishes and prayers have buoyed us over the course of these last intensely difficult days and you will never know how much it has meant to us to see how loved and well regarded Andy is. As a family we need to maintain radio silence for a while now, as we process our own grief and make the arrangements for the final part of Andy's journey. I know many of you will want to post further messages of support and to share your own grief at his passing; please do so. We will read and value every one of your posts when the time is right for us. We want you not to mourn Andy's loss but to rejoice that his path crossed yours, however briefly or infrequently, for whatever reason, and consider how much richer your life is for knowing him.
