Hull is plank on frame skinned inside and out with thin tissue and the plated with litho plate. Deck is ply planked in lime/mahogany to suit. Gunshield is fibreglass on male mould. Deckhouses mahogany with windows cast in resin. Cowl vents are electro formed in 2 halves, soft soldered together.
I think that the only non-scratch items (sofar that is) are the chain and the davits.
Engine and boiler are beauties from John Hemmens.
The only problem was splitting the rudder shaft between the upper and lower hulls.
It really can only be classed as 'almost scale' due to the shortage of accurate info.
