I've tried a few times to get in contact through both Component Shop and the Blackpool Facebook page regarding attending the show with a club display, but sadly no reply as yet.

BLACKPOOL MODEL SHOW 2023
Hi Folks.
Well, I have finally had chance to update the Blackpool Model Show website, so booking forms for any clubs or individuals wishing to exhibit can now be downloaded (www.blackpoolmodelshow.co.uk)
The date for the show is the weekend of the 14th-15th October, once again at the Norbreck Castle Hotel at the North end of the Blackpool promenade.
I will be contacting everyone who exhibited last year & they will automatically have space reserved for them, there will be limited additional space, which will be available on a first come, first served basis, so please get your bookings in if you wish to exhibit - if you have any problems downloading the paperwork, just let me know & I can e-mail paperwork directly to you, or even post the paperwork if required.
The format for the show will be very similar to previous years, although there will be a few different things going on as well, more on that later.
One change this year is that Stavros (Dave Jones) has stepped down from helping out over the show weekend, instead my very good friend David Gale has agreed to help me out. Although new to the model show, David has a wealth of experience with other shows. He is a thoroughly nice bloke & I'm sure will be an asset to the event.

If you go into clubs and exhibitors, read the txt and its highlighted in blue where you can download the booking form.

Getting closer to show time

The web site has been updated with all the clubs & exhibitors that have so far returned their paperwork (www.blackpoolmodelshow.co.uk) There is a very limited amount of space left if anyone else is interested in exhibiting - this is simply because a few people have yet to return their paperwork & I am getting tired of chasing them, so the space that is left is available on a "first come, first served" basis, so if you are interested, or have paperwork that you haven't yet returned, please be quick.

Show is Saturday 14th October 10:00am - 4:00pm & Sunday 15th October 10:00am - 3:00pm at the Norbreck Castle Hotel, Blackpool.
Tickets can be bought on the door for £8.00 for 1-day, or £12.00 for the weekend.
If you buy in advance via the website (www.blackpoolmodelshow.co.uk) it is £1.00 per ticket cheaper. You can also book discounted accommodation through the website.

Yes, same as last year, making for easy access to & from the car park via the rear doors of the hotel, with no need to go through the main show ticket entrance.
If you are looking to sell something, the paperwork can be downloaded in advance from the show website (www.blackpoolmodelshow.co.uk) or you can just complete on the day at the bring & buy. All fees from the bring & buy are given to charity - 50% to the RNLI & 50% to the Air Ambulance.

Well the van is packed up and Stav is raring to go early start for him at 530, and ill be leaving around 330 with the Girls and should be there for around 8pm if the illumination traffic dont hold me up.

Girls are super excited so is Stav please introduce yourselves to him at his Stand Snowdonia Model Boats and he is offering a 10% discount on ALL sales to Mayhemers

Fantastic weekend, many thanks to Iain and the Component Shop team for organising the show. This was the first year we displayed as Wicksteed Park MBC and we really enjoyed our selves. Great to catch up with the Scottish Lads and get to see the humongous HMS Glory that Colin is building.
I’ve done a Martin and took loads of pictures so I’ll sort them out and upload them over the next few days. Steve was very surprised at being awarded the Best Scratch-built Model for the Train Ferry, there were some stunning models on display and I’ve actually bought more bits and pieces for my nieces models than for my own! However a P-Boat may have found its way into my boot before I left

Just got back home from a fantastic weekend in Blackpool with my family...
I also spent Saturday with my modelling friends & family at the Show...
A massive Well Done to everybody involved in the show...It was Great...
So what are the dates for next years show ?...
