Not sure just where to put this but for those who do their own machining there is a set of You Tube videos showing lathe and miling work to another level.

While not steam related but basically rebuilding parts for large construction machines, especially their hydraulic rams etc, it show some amazing work all done manually with no CNC or digital readouts involved.

Impressive stuff Jim. I did see a digital readout on the mill on the one I watched but not on the lathe, just occasional use of a micrometer. Really surprised at how rarely cutting fluid was used though.
