New build project
« on: March 03, 2023, 11:45:16 am »

Hi Gents,

Looking for feed back please.

I’ve been lucky to be offered the first 1/96 scale Type 26 Frigate hull from Scale warships, which they may produce in the future.

I will need to draw up my own drawing using internet data, which will take time.

However My main issue is do I start a build log of this build on MBM forum, the reason for questioning this,  is since Sept last year some changes with MBM or my internet provider, has meant that I’ve not been receiving any notification re new posts, existing post  or PMs . BT have been very helpful and spent the last few months trying to resolve and see why, but it seems BT fills its a MBM issue, which Admin can’t find why either.

So any post people post on my thread just does not get notified to me, which has been very frustrating as I have enjoyed people interaction with my builds.

So the bottom line is if I did this build an start a build thread will it be received as well as past threads as I may be missing peoples replies, question etc.

Definitely would like you to start a blog on here Dave - 100%
I tend to frequent 'show unread posts since last visit' which is why I don't really need the notifications facility.

Hope this helps.

Aye,
Ray.

I definitely would love to see the build, these are going to be the equivalent of the light cruiser of the last two world wars. An impressive vessel and look forward to seeing a real one :-))

Hi Dave  Yes go for it, where would MBM be without build logs etc. I haven't been getting notifications for a long time now I just pop in now and then to catch up, good luck with the new build,   :-))

Hi Dave,
I have recently started a build log (1:72 scale T45 Destroyer) so it would be great to follow a fellow warship builder.

Well, thanks for your replies gents, I’ll start a new Thread shortly for the Type 26 Frigate,  once I received the Hull.
