Anyone capable of 3d drawing could copy the principle and print to any dimension and adjust the shape of the runners to suit model warships.

I strongly suggest no one wakes the LEGO dragon by trying to sell them unless the design is based on a non copyright design principle? It looks like a simpler form that roller doors use......

Too right Ian the Lego dragon would be jumping on anyone coping there design >>:-(

I’m currently looking at a slight mod to my design in that I need to have a curved section joining the two straight brass track section.

I must say I think the smaller the panels the easier to have the door roll.

Not a lot being published about the Type 26,  with info limited I’ve spent hours trawling the net for any info.

All that I’ve found is a bit about the Sea Ceptor aft missile system, this is what I’ve built using this info, however as for access doors or ladders fitted on the unit I’ll have to await to see if there is any photos published in the future.

Chris,

It’s the New defence system that replaces the Sea Wolf on Type 26 Frigates , Type 45 Destroyers and Will be installed on the new type 26 Frigates

Sea Ceptor  is said to be able to deal with multiple targets at the same time, protecting an area of around 500 square miles over land or sea.

That’s fine Chris,

Update;

I’ve been running test and checks on Belfast wiring, all ok.

I’ve also started on detailing the hangar roof and plan to install the hangar LEDs.

I’m not too happy with the Sea Ceptor casting so will remove them and cast off new.

Hi Phill,

Sounds like some major work to be done with the T45.

Since my last update I’ve bit the bullet and started on the main mast and bridge section. The mast on the T45 seemed big to me but the T26 are massive.

Any way this does give an advantage by having such a large mast, means installing Radar motors and Nav lights is going to be a breeze.

Some photos of the mast and bridge section, now just need to make good any joints that show and wait more info so I can detail it.
