How long should my 1-48 scale Type VIIC U-Boat batteries last? I’m using a 7.2v NiMh 4000mAh pack and struggle to get an hour.

Sounds like a surface runner with minimal controls. So the running time is in with that. If you are running pumps and planes I doubt that you achieve the time you state.I ran mine at 6v 10amp Ni-cads to get reasonable performance. nemesis

I am now thinking an hour is fine - I’m able to dive and have run the pump a lot. It should get better when it’s warmer as the water is quite cool - below ten Celsius…
