Has anyone had any success with these cheap laser cutter/engravers?  For the price they seem to be too good to be true.

Had a look at their website, they are definitely not cheap. Cheap laser engravers generally have a low power blue laser diode and are basically intended for engraving. They will cut but only softer woods and thin sections. They will generally need several passes to completely cut through. For cutting an infra red laser is much better but these are larger and the tubes cost more. The K40 chinese CO2 laser is still available but has really gone up in price now.
