Using 2 Different Speed Controllers Together
« on: May 31, 2023, 09:12:20 am »

Hi, newbie question.
I'm setting up my twin engined tugboat and have 2 Mtroniks Viper 15  Brushed ESCs. One is a plug'n play, the other has the "set up" button.  Will these 2 work together with the signal wire cut on the older ESC?  Or do I need to buy a new ESC?
Any help gratefully received!

They’ll work, but not if you cut the signal wire :o

If you use tank steering set, you will have far better control on the tug both forward and reverse.

take the red wire out of the ESC plug on one unit, tie it back for future use. nemesis
